Write for the conversation you want

Everyday Egyptian wording

For a casual greeting, try «إزيك؟» instead of «كيف حالك؟». Words such as «عايز» and «مش» help set a conversational register. Keep the wording consistent with the speaker and situation.

Listen for the details

Test the names and place names in your project, especially words containing ج or ق. Listen to the selected voice rather than assuming every Egyptian regional label has identical pronunciation.

Short scripts to try

Paste a script into the editor and replace the names and details.

A short explainer

A shop announcement

مستنيينك النهارده في المحل. تعالى شوف التشكيلة الجديدة، واختار اللي يناسبك على مهلك.

An appointment reminder

بنأكد معاك معادك بكرة الساعة عشرة الصبح في فرع الدقي. لو محتاج تغيّر المعاد، كلّمنا قبلها.

About Egyptian Arabic speech

Will an Egyptian voice turn formal Arabic into Egyptian wording?

No. A voice choice does not rewrite your script. For an everyday Egyptian result, write the words you would actually say, then listen and refine.

How should I write prices and times?

If a number is read differently from what you intended, spell it out in the script. For example, try «مية خمسة وعشرين جنيه» for 125 Egyptian pounds, or «الساعة عشرة الصبح» for 10 a.m. Test the wording with your selected voice.
