Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 October 2026

This policy explains how Sawtak Arabi handles information when you use our website, dashboard and API, or contact us.

Questions or requests about your data: support@sawtakarabi.ai.

Information we collect

Account information. We collect your name, email address and sign-in information to create and manage your account, authenticate you and send service messages.

Content. We process the text, audio and voice recordings you submit, and the outputs generated for you, to provide speech generation and voice cloning. For troubleshooting, authorised administrators may inspect recent customer input, processed text, generation settings and technical diagnostics. Capture is best-effort and is not a permanent content archive. If you contact support, we also receive the information you include in your message.

Usage and transaction information. We process service usage, purchases, credit transactions and technical information such as IP address and browser type to operate the service, calculate charges, investigate problems and protect accounts against abuse.

How we use information

We use this information to deliver the features you request, manage accounts and credit, communicate service updates, answer support requests, investigate technical problems, prevent abuse and meet applicable legal obligations. Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, these purposes may involve providing the service you requested, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting it, compliance with law, or consent where required.

We do not sell your data or use your content to train our models.

Service providers and sharing

Service providers help us host the site, process speech, protect against abuse and send account email. We use Cloudflare for the platform, database connectivity, file storage, security and operational logs; Hetzner for our application database and API servers; GPU hosts rented through Vast.ai for speech processing; and Resend for authentication email. Our application database is hosted in Germany. Other processing locations depend on the service provider.

If you choose to publish a voice, the information and voice access made public by that feature are available to other users.

We may disclose information when required by law or when necessary to investigate abuse or protect users and the service. Providers may process information in countries other than yours. Contact us for information about a particular provider or processing location.

Cookies and analytics

Essential cookies support sign-in, security and your preferences. Where enabled, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity receive site-use data only if you accept analytics cookies; Clarity may include masked session recordings. You can change your choice through Cookie settings in the footer. Declining optional analytics does not prevent you from signing in or using the core service. Your browser also provides cookie controls, although blocking essential cookies may prevent some features from working.

Retention and deletion

For this platform and API:

  • Saved voices, reference recordings and their encoded voice data remain while you keep the voice. Deleting a voice or its account removes the associated records and schedules its unreferenced files for deletion.
  • Saved recordings and their scripts have no scheduled expiry or limit based on the number of recordings. Deleting a recording or your account removes access and schedules the associated files for deletion. API recording capture is best effort, so a completed request may have no saved recording. Save a copy of any audio you need to keep. See Saved recordings.
  • In hosted MCP, accepted scripts and request status are stored with Cloudflare for background processing, even when no audio recording is saved. They are retained for one day after processing ends, including failure or cancellation. Time spent queued or paused can extend retention beyond one day from submission. Work already accepted may finish after you disconnect an app or delete your account; those actions do not immediately erase this temporary data. Contact support about earlier deletion. Saved recordings follow the separate policy above; see the hosted MCP guide for retrieval and sharing.
  • Individual request history, input text, processed text and available diagnostic payloads are retained together for ninety days, using UTC-day boundaries. New records normally appear within a few minutes. Expired records stop being available through the service; storage lifecycle deletion is asynchronous and measured from upload, so delayed exports or provider cleanup can extend physical storage. Separately saved recordings and scripts follow the saved-recording policy above.
  • Daily account totals contain counts, characters and charges, without text, audio, request identifiers, API-key identifiers or voice identifiers. They remain for twenty-four months from the usage date and are removed when the account is deleted. These account-linked summaries are personal data, not anonymous statistics.
  • Expired sign-in links and sessions stop working when they expire and are subsequently deleted. Records of revoked API keys are deleted after thirty days. Expired third-party sign-in credentials are removed where applicable.
  • Removing an item from your account and erasing its stored files may happen at different times. File cleanup runs every six hours; retries or service outages can delay completion.
  • Operational logs are separate from saved customer content and follow the relevant provider's retention settings or bounded server-log rotation. We do not intentionally log speech text or keep a separate long-term diagnostic-log archive. Contact us for the settings applicable to a particular service.
  • Necessary payment, credit and usage evidence may be retained after account deletion for accounting, reconciliation, disputes and applicable legal obligations. Deleting an account does not necessarily erase those records. A minimal hashed-email marker may also remain to prevent repeated signup-credit claims; it is separate from voice-cloning charges.
  • Temporary copies made when replacing our voice library are scheduled for removal after thirty days. Copies needed for an active recovery or legal obligation may be retained separately for that purpose and reviewed for deletion afterward.
  • Backup or service-provider copies may outlive deletion from the active service. Their applicable recovery windows must be considered when handling a deletion request; contact us for details. Already downloaded copies cannot be recalled from a recipient's device.

You can delete your account in account settings or contact us about deletion of your information, including voice material submitted by someone else. We assess requests and applicable legal exceptions and explain any information that must be retained. Contact us for the retention details of a particular billing record or service-provider copy.

Your choices and rights

You can manage saved content in the dashboard and delete your account in account settings. Contact support to request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information. Depending on the law that applies, you may also have rights to receive a portable copy, object to certain processing, restrict its use, withdraw consent or complain to a data-protection authority.

We may need proportionate information to verify a request and protect another person’s data. We will explain any applicable exception that prevents us from fulfilling it. Withdrawing consent does not change the lawfulness of processing that took place before withdrawal.

If you use Sawtak Arabi through another organisation’s application, that organisation may decide how your information is used. Contact it about that processing; you may also contact us for help identifying the appropriate recipient.

Security and children

We use access controls and other technical measures to protect stored information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Keep sign-in links and API keys private and contact us if you suspect unauthorised use.

The service is for adults aged 18 or over. Do not create an account for a child or submit a child’s voice for cloning. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Changes and contact

We will notify account holders before a significant change to this policy takes effect and update the date above. Send privacy questions and requests to support@sawtakarabi.ai.
