Voices and consent

Clone only your own voice or a voice whose speaker knowingly agreed. Keep proof of consent. Audio found online is not consent. Do not clone children, public figures, politicians or deceased people. Publish a voice only if its speaker agreed to public use, and unpublish it if they withdraw consent.

Prohibited use

Do not use generated speech to impersonate or deceive, commit fraud, bypass voice authentication or mislead listeners about whether a person spoke. Disclose AI-generated speech when listeners could mistake it for a real speaker; identify automated callers up front.

Do not use the service for child sexual abuse material, threats, targeted harassment, hate, incitement to violence or self-harm, election disinformation, or other unlawful activity. Do not share or sell API keys, evade rate limits or credit balances, create multiple accounts to claim starting credit repeatedly, scrape or reverse engineer the service, or train a competing speech model on its output.

We may suspend accounts that break this policy. If we make a mistake, contact us and we will review it. See the Privacy Policy for how we investigate abuse.
